Tom Rizzo from Microsoft posted an article yesterday on the Why Microsoft blog titled “A Patent Lack of Focus”. This article questions Google’s priorities in the enterprise space by asking “Where are Google’s investment in their enterprise applications?”
According to Tom, Google’s lack of focus is a result of:
- Google’s focus on search and ads
- Google Apps revenues appear to be stagnant
- Even Google is not replacing Microsoft Office with Google Apps!
- Google Apps was not even mentioned in Larry’s big priorities for Google.
Before making your decision on what productivity solution to use, make sure you read this article and fully understand the long term road maps for the solutions you are comparing.
