Azure RemoteApp Overview

Azure RemoteApp helps employees stay productive anywhere, and on a variety of devices—Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, or Android. Your company’s applications run on Windows Server in the Azure cloud, where they’re easier to scale and update. Employees install Remote Desktop clients on their Internet-connected laptop, tablet, or phone and then can access applications as if they were running locally.

I recently recorded a short (approximately 30 minute) webcast that provides an overview of RemoteApp and explains the two deployment options.   Check out the webcast here.

If you would like to take Azure RemoteApp for a test drive or sign up for the service, visit the Azure RemoteApp page at http://azure.microsoft.com.

In a future webcast I will demonstrate how to configure an Azure RemoteApp deployment and how to maintain a hybrid image.

    1. Sorry for the delay on this. For some reason I didn’t get notified of this comment. 🙁 I am working to fix the video. Looks like the encoding didn’t complete. I will be uploading the full video shortly. I am also working on a follow-up video to show a demonstration of RemoteApp.
